Our Backpack Program is Back!

Integral Thread and Ai STUDiO are joining forces again this year for the Denver Human Services’ annual #BeAGiver School Supply Drive! Giving back is a top priority to both companies and together we can pack more backpacks and get more students in need ready for the school year. With our team effort and help from those like you in our community, we can make this another record year and help all of those children in need.   

For years, donors like you have helped Denver Human Services provide backpacks filled with school supplies to thousands of students throughout our city, including more than 1,100 students last year during what was an extremely difficult time for many of us. Last year, we were the largest donor and we want to continue the trend and outbeat our numbers from last year. We couldn’t do it without your help! 

To Adopt-a-Student

To ‘adopt’ or sponsor a specific student(s) within the Denver Human Services Child Welfare Division (including Foster Care, Kinship Care, and Child Protection), email [email protected] by July 20, 2021. After you are matched, you will be able to go shopping specifically for your student(s)!

After emailing, we’ll send you information about the student with whom you are matched and your next steps. Please be patient as manually matching donors and recipients takes time. If you do not receive your match within a few days, email [email protected]

To Donate School Supplies

Help us fill backpacks by donating K-12 school supplies. We’ll give these backpacks to students in need served across all Denver Human Services programs and divisions, including students experiencing food insecurity and homelessness. You can drop off any supplies to our showroom (address below) or they can be sent contact-free from Denver Human Services. Amazon and YouGiveGoods wish lists or can be purchased anywhere and dropped to our showroom. For a full list of supplies needed, please click here.

Make a Monetary Donation

Short on time? Monetary donations can be made to Denver Human Services directly. All monetary donations are tax-deductible and 100% of your donation goes towards buying school supplies for students in need. 

The online monetary donation is unavailable at this time, so monetary donations can be received by check. We apologize for this inconvenience. Please send all checks to the Ai STUDiO/Integral Thread Showroom address above, and please make the check out to Denver Human Services’ Manager of Finance with the memo line: #BeAGiver School Supply Drive. Do not write the check out to Ai STUDiO or Integral Thread. We will hand deliver the supplies, backpacks and monetary donations to Denver Human Services and need the check written directly to the charity.

We will need all packed backpacks, donated supplies and monetary donations to our showroom by July 30, 2021. We will facilitate packing all donated supplies into backpacks and getting all donations to the Denver Human Services drop-off location.
